POLICIES AND GUIDELINES
WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR MERCHANDISE PLEASE OPEN ALL BOXES IMMEDIATELY AND CHECK CONTENTS. Under the terms of our Limited Warranty, we must be notified of any damages incurred in shipping within 2 business days after you receive any product ordered from us. We will then give you instructions on how and where to return the product(s). All items returned to us must include your name, Order ID, and a brief description of why you are returning the item.
Shipping Damage: If you receive damaged goods, you must notify us and the carrier (i.e., UPS, FedEx, USPS, freight company, etc.) within 2 business days after you receive the goods. If the packaging appears damaged on the outside, refuse to accept it from the carrier, or when signing the shipper's proof-of-delivery slip. When refusing a shipment, include a note stating that the package appears to be damaged. Depending on the product and where/how it was shipped, it may be necessary for you to deal with the carrier. Most trucking companies will only work with the person who received the damaged goods. If there was any internal or non-visible damage, you must report such damage to BlueRidge and the carrier within 2 business days after you receive the product. Once you have informed us and the carrier, we will send you complete instructions on how we will be taking care of the damaged goods. Please do not ship the product back to us without contacting us first to get instructions.
Other Returns: We accept returns on products only within 30 days after you receive the item(s). We will only accept a return if it is returned with your name, the Order ID, and a description of why you are returning the item in the package of the returned item. The product must be returned in the original manufacturer's packaging as shipped to you. All returns must be shipped to our physical address: BlueRidge Company, Returns Dept, 17420 Vashon Hwy, Vashon WA 98070 - please note, we cannot accept USPS packages to this address. If you return a product for a reason other than damage or defect, the items must be unused and in sellable condition, in the manufacturer's original packaging, and returned to BlueRidge in the packing material in which you received it. We charge a standard 25% restocking fee on all returns. Your original shipping charges, return shipping charges, or shipping charges BlueRidge incurred will not be refunded. If an item was sent free freight, the actual outbound freight charges will be deducted from the return credit. Refunds will not be issued if the item is returned after 30 days or in used/non-sellable condition.
Tubing layouts are provided free of charge at customer's request with the purchase of tubing and manifolds. If tubing and manifolds are returned at any time after the design has been provided, a standard square footage design price will be deducted from the refund you receive for the returned materials, not including restocking fees and outbound shipping deductions.
We do not accept returns for any electric products, insulation products, used or assembled products (e.g., a pump distribution panel), non-listed and quoted items, or items that do not have prices listed on our website. Items for which you received a special price quote are considered special order items and may not be returned. Items that ship by truck freight may not be returned. For example, items such as boilers, water heaters, solar collectors, or radiators may not be returned. If they are defective, you will either receive a replacement or it will be repaired by factory warranty procedures. We do not accept returns of any electric parts under any circumstances. All sales of electric parts are FINAL.
Cancellation of any prefabricated system will be considered a returned order and all standard restocking fees will apply.
Defective Products: If a product is defective, please contact us immediately. Please do not return any product without contacting us first and receiving the necessary return instructions. After receiving the defective merchandise, we will test it if need be. Should we or the manufacturer determine that the product is defective, either your purchase price will be refunded or the defective product will be replaced at sole determination of BlueRidge or under the policy in place at the time as established by the manufacturer. We will not pay shipping costs on items that are being handled directly by the manufacturer. There may be instances when the manufacturer, once it has been contacted, will ask our help in the replacement process. If this occurs, we will assist you and the manufacturer with the return process. BlueRidge Company does not cover labor costs incurred during service work on defective products unless explicit previous written consent is given by BlueRidge Company.
Manufacturer Warranties: We sell third-party products or services without warranty of any kind. However, third-party manufacturers or suppliers of products sold by us may provide their own warranties. We will assist you with contacting the manufacturer or supplier to obtain replacement or repair of third-party products only if originally purchased from BlueRidge Company.
Building Codes/Ordinances/Installation: It is your responsibility to check and meet your local Building Codes and Ordinances and proper installation of all products.
