High Efficiency Air Separators

Taco 4900 Series Air Separators are designed for the complete elimination of air from closed loop heating and cooling systems up to a maximum temperature of 240°F and a maximum pressure of 150 psi. The high efficiency Taco 4900 Series Air Separators use patented PALL ring technology to clear the system of microbubbles, sand, dirt and rust that can damage the system, reduce efficiency and cause irritating noise. By applying PALL ring technology to hydronic air and dirt separation, the 4900 Series will:

  • Remove microbubbles as small as 15 microns
  • Eliminate air induced system noise
  • Remove air that has dissolved in the system water
  • Remove and separate solid particles from flow
