All of the Blue Ridge Company Whole House Packages providing floor heat systems are available with PEX C as a substitution. PEX C is functionally the same as PEX B but is more environmentally friendly in the manufacturing process and is wholly made in the United States. Customers purchasing the floor heat Whole House Packages from Blue Ridge Company should specify in the notes of their order which type of PEX they prefer. Blue Ridge Company offers the floor heat solutions with RHT PEX-AL-PEX pipe which is a composite pipe consisting of five layers. The inside and outside layers of the floor heat product are made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) cross linked (PEX) and tightly bonded with adhesive to the middle layer which is an aluminum core and is longitudinally welded in an overlapping manner. All of the layers are extruded in one step. Blue Ridge Company informs that the inside and outside layers of the floor heat products are made of special PE, are hygienic, toxic free and smooth. The middle layer of AL is 100 percent gas/oxygen tight, giving it the same benefits of both metal and plastic pipes. The Blue Ridge Company provides the RHT floor heat intelligently designed panel system which features ¾" specialized plywood, which is routed at 180 degree turns.

The infill of the floor heat system is custom provided ¾" plywood rips and the panels can be cut to provide multiple angles. The floor heat panel system works with RHT ½" PEX pipe and with RHT heat transfer plates.
