Thermal conductivity______________
0.45W/m.k, about 1/100 that of steel pipe but only several times higher than that of insulating materials.
 
Corrosion resistance______________
The inside and outside polyethylene are a kind of symmetrical and non-polar material with stable
characteristics. At normal temperature, it does not dissolve in any known solutions and is resistant against various kinds of acid, alkali and salt.
 
Hygiene______________
RHT pipe is hygienic, toxic free, rust free preventing the growth of microorganisms, thus avoiding contamination to water . It has acquired' Approval of Hygienic Product for Potable Water'(YUE WEI SHUI ZI [1997]S0008), and has passed all the tests of pipe for potable water in accordance with the   British Standard BS6920 by the British WQC and tests by HongKong Polytechnic University.

Weathering quality and working life_________
It can be concluded from this graph that if utilized under the stipulated conditions and pressures , RHT Pipe can have a working life of more than 50 years. The compelling weathering test by the Compound Material Research Institute of National Chemical Ministry also proves that RHT Pipe can have a working life of 50 years.
Burning resistance______________
The PE(X)-AL-PE(X) composite structure acquires RHT Pipe a much better burning resistance than that of all polyethylene pipe.With the test by the National Fire-proof Construction Material Quality Supervisory Test Center,the burning resistance of RHT Pipe is proved to reach Grade B1 of GB8624,stipulations for wire and cable conduit plastic material.
 
Hydraulic Function ______________
The roughness coefficient of RHT Pipe is 0.007mm.The inside wall is very smooth,scale free and low flow resistant
which makes RHT Pipe ideal for fluid carrying (such as water). Due to it's hard but flexible composite structure,
the lashing pressure is quickly eliminated, thus no disturbing sound occurs.
